Carter catches fire from three

Cedar Grove-Belgium High School senior basketball player Carter Schmitz was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sheboygan County All-Star Game on Saturday, May 23, at Sheboygan Christian High School. Schmitz went 13-for-17 on three-pointers (76%) and scored 41 points. “It was easy to get open shots with that good of players around you, and our whole team was consistently looking to dish off,” he said. Schmitz played with teammates Owen Gulke and Thomas Wiesner.
