Jones Named Comeback Player of the Year by D1Softball

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke graduate student Tyrina Jones was named D1Softball's Comeback Player of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday morning. After missing her senior season at Purdue due to a knee injury, Jones transferred to Duke to use her final year of eligibility. In her one-year stint with the Blue Devils, Jones made her mark on the Duke offense. She was one of just three players to earn a spot in the starting lineup in all 60 games this season .
