Midwestern State No. 29 in final ITA rankings
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State is No. 29 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings of NCAA Division II teams. The Mustangs finished second in the Lone Star Conference during the regular season but won the LSC Women's Tennis Championship, avenging a regular season loss with a 4-2 win over No. 19-ranked UT Tyler. MSU defeated No. 32-ranked Angelo State in the preliminary round of the NCAA Division II Women's Championship, 4-1, to reach the Round of 16, but the Mustangs lost to 22nd-ranked Augustana.
