Peterson Punches Ticket to Outdoor Nationals, Finishes Ninth in Shot Put at NCAA East Regional Meet

LEXINGTON, KY - In action at the 2026 NCAA Division I East Regional Championships, senior Quentin Peterson advanced to represent Gardner-Webb at the upcoming NCAA Division I Outdoor National Championship meet in Eugene, Oregon Competing in shot put and in a field largely of power conference athletes, Peterson placed ninth on Wednesday evening with a mark of 18.81 meters in men's shot put.
