Redbirds Open Competition at NCAA West First Round

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Illinois State track and field opened competition Wednesday at the NCAA West First Round at the University of Arkansas. Zach Paul represented the Redbirds in the men's 100m dash first round, finishing 42nd overall with a time of 10.48. In the field events, Jacob Klink placed 32nd in the men's shot put with a mark of 17.64m, while Garrett Taylor finished 44th overall with a throw of 16.46m.
