LEXINGTON, KY - On the opening day of the NCAA East Regionals, two Terrapins competed in the evening portion. Roman Spikes advanced to Friday's quarterfinals after finishing among the top qualifiers in his event. Spikes qualified in the 200 meters after turning in a time of 20.74 seconds and placing within the top-24 to move on to the quarterfinals.
