William Opare Recognized as High-Point Scorer at Outdoor Nationals

NEW ORLEANS – Angelo State freshman sprinter William Opare was recognized by the USTFCCCA this afternoon for being the high point scorer at last weekend's Division II Outdoor Championships, the organization announced this afternoon. Opare, the freshman from Accra, Ghana, scored 22.5 points as he claimed three national championships and helped the Rams to a seventh-place finish at the Division II Outdoor National Championships in Emporia, Kansas last week.
