Avery Pearson, Abbey Nechanicky advance for CU Buffs track at NCAA West Regional

The Colorado track team had only three entrants in the first day of the women’s competition at the NCAA West Regional, but two of them, Pearson and Nechanicky, kept their seasons alive in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Pearson earned an automatic qualification by winning the second heat of the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2 minutes, 3.75 seconds to finish 10th overall.
