Christopher Newport Softball’s Katrina Swan Named Academic All-District

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University junior third baseman Katrina Swan was named Academic All-District earlier this week by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Swan, from Vienna, Va., is a graduate of James Madison High School and recently completed her third season with the Captains. A psychology major with a near-perfect GPA through three years, Swan played in 38 games this spring, making 37 starts for Keith Parr ‘s squad.
