Habberstad and Wagner Earn USTFCCCA North Region Awards; Helped Lead UWL to Sweep of WIAC and NCAA Division III Titles

New Orleans, La. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women’s track & field earned a pair of regional awards selected the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Thursday. Junior Madison Habberstad of Rochester, Minn. (Century) was named the USTFCCCA North Region Field Athlete of the Year for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III while assistant coach Katie Wagner was voted the USTFCCCA North Region Outdoor Assistant Coach of the Year.
