Heavyweight Rowing Heads to California for IRA National Championship Regatta
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men's heavyweight rowing team is making the cross-country trip to the Natoma River in Gold River, California to participate in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship Regatta. The regatta will take place from May 29 through May 31. Penn is sending three Eights and a Four to the Golden State this weekend. The Eights are set to row in heats on Friday morning, with the Four competing in a Time Trial Friday morning to determine semifinal seedings later that day.
