Men’s Hockey Names David Mitchell as Operations Coordinator

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Class of 1975 Head Coach for Men's Hockey Thomas Upton has announced the hiring of David Mitchell as the Bears' new Operations Coordinator. Mitchell comes to Brown after spending the last two seasons working on staff with Upton at UMass as a Hockey Operations Intern. With the Minutemen, Mitchell managed game and practice film, recorded in-game statistics, organized postgame analytical reports, created commit reports for the coaching staff, as well as coordinated and planned team travel, meals and events.
