Plano Prestonwood Drops 9-Run 2nd Inning to Win TAPPS D-1 State Title

Plano Prestonwood claimed the TAPPS Division 1 state baseball championship with an 11-2 victory over Tomball Concordia Lutheran, highlighted by a second-inning grand slam from Trent Vilade. The Lions sent 11 batters to the plate in a nine-run second inning to put the game out of reach. Trent's brother Ryan was called up to the Tampa Bay Rays earlier in the week.
