Troy’s Grant Yerger Qualifies for 120th Southern Amateur Championship

TROY, Ala. – Rising Troy junior Grant Yerger qualified for the 120th Southern Amateur Championship after shooting 4-under and finishing third at his sectional qualifier on Wednesday at Tradition Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Yerger, who earlier qualified for the Texas State Amateur Championship later this summer, shot a 68 to finish a stroke behind a pair tied for first.
