URochester Nets Region Coaching Staff of the Year Honor

The University of Rochester softball coaching staff, led by Head Coach Abby Hurley-Martin , was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA Division III Region III Coaching Staff of the Year, as announced by the NFCA on Thursday. Hurley-Martin, along with Assistant Coach Cass Platt and Volunteer Assistants Emily Doherty , Rosella Gomez and Bradley Shannon , led the Yellowjackets this season to a 36-10 (13-1 LL) record, winning both the Liberty League regular season and tournament titles to make the Yellowjackets’ 12th NCAA Tournament berth in program history.
