Boutin Finishes NCAA West Preliminary Competition

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Loyola University Chicago's Nate Boutin competed in the 3K steeplechase Friday at the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary Round at John McDonnell Field. Boutin posted a time of 9:04.48 in the third heat, finishing 13th and falling short of advancing to the NCAA Championships. Roisin Treacy will be the final Rambler in action at the West Preliminary Round. Treacy is set to race Saturday at 5:40 p.m. CT in the 3K steeplechase, seeking a berth to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Fans can watch the action live on ESPN+.
