Gunton Competes in 10K at NCAA East First Rounds

LEXINGTON, KY – Junior Tayla Gunton represented the Iona University women's outdoor track team at the NCAA East First Rounds on Thursday evening at the University of Kentucky Track and Field Complex. Competing in the 10,000-meter run, Gunton placed 22nd overall in a field of 46 runners with a time of 34:10.01. The top 12 finishers advanced to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Gunton capped off her 2025-26 season in the event with her second-fastest 10,000-meter performance of the year.
