Meienschein Earns D3baseball.com All-Region Honors

Virginia Wesleyan baseball standout Gino Meienschein added another postseason accolade to his impressive junior campaign after being named Second Team All-Region VI by D3baseball.com. The Marlins’ first baseman was recognized among the top players in Region VI after putting together one of the most productive offensive seasons in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Meienschein started all 39 games for Virginia Wesleyan and led the Marlins with a .409 batting average while totaling 56 hits, 40 runs scored, 28 RBI, and a .534 on-base percentage.
