Salem Named USTFCCCA Northeast Regional Coach of the Year

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Regional Coaches of the Year and UMass Dartmouth’s Mike Salem has been recognized. The Corsairs’ Director of Track & Field and Cross Country was named the Northeast Region’s Men’s Coach of the Year. Salem, who finished his eighth year at the helm of the Corsairs Track & Field/Cross Country programs in 2025-26, led UMass Dartmouth to the team title at the Little East Outdoor Championships – the team’s second straight outdoor title and fourth since the 2022 season.
