Softball Staff Named ATEC/NFCA Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Glenville State Softball coaching staff has been named the ATEC/NFCA Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year, the associations announced today. The award is voted on by the respective region's coaching staffs. Head coach Sara Scoone , assistant coach Tim White and graduate assistant Makenna Negley earned this year's award after leading the Pioneers to an historic 2026 campaign. Under their leadership, the Pioneers have won 51 games with their second consecutive MEC South Division title, first-ever MEC Tournament championship, first NCAA Atlantic Region 1 title and first NCAA Atlantic Super Regional championship trophy.
