Avery Pearson advances to NCAA finals for CU Buffs track

Pearson capped the Colorado track contingent at the NCAA West Regional by advancing out of the women’s 800-meter run on Saturday, becoming the fourth Buffs athlete to punch a ticket to the national finals in Eugene, Oregon. Pearson made the 12-athlete cut in the 800, earning an automatic bid into the national semifinals by finishing third in the first heat in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
