Panthers baseball camp works on skills, practice drills

The Lufkin Panther Baseball Camp was held this week with approximately 50 kids from incoming third through ninth grade attending. The camp, which was held in the afternoon for third through sixth grade and in the morning for seventh through ninth, ended on Friday with the groups combining for a morning session. “For the older kids we have the camp so we can show them how we practice and what we do,” Lufkin head baseball coach John Cobb said. “It was more of a practice for them than it was a camp, just to show them how we warm up,...
