Clemson football lands 4-star DL Desmond Malpress over South Carolina, Florida

CLEMSON — Clemson football added its third defensive lineman in the 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of Desmond Malpress on June 1. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder from Atlantic Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida, is a four-star edge rusher. He is the No. 15 player in the state and the No. 147 player nationally by the 247Sports Composite.
