Men’s Soccer, C-Club: Men’s Soccer Head Coach Steve Axtell Named 2025-26 C-Club Coach of the Year

Axtell led the Red Dragons to a 14-1-6 record during the 2025 season. Cortland won the SUNYAC regular-season title and earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Division III tournament, and the Red Dragons posted wins over Delhi and Catholic to advance to the NCAA “Sweet 16.” Cortland was eliminated in penalty kicks by Augsburg in the third round and tied for ninth place nationally.
