Baseball, Champions: Four Cortland Baseball Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Cortland senior shortstop Danny Jackson (Lagrangeville/Arlington), senior pitcher Tommy Lynch (West Seneca/Canisius), sophomore catcher Jack McFerran (Selkirk/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) and junior first baseman Nolan Smith (Hamburg) have been named to the 2026 Division III Baseball Academic All-District team for District 3. The all-district teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. Recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain requirements in terms of contests competed in and athletic accomplishments.
