Five baseball players earn Academic All-District honors from CSC

DANVILLE, Va. – Averett University baseball represented well on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Baseball Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, as senior Luke Keister , junior Drew Skinner and sophomores Ean Amerson , Nathan Michalowicz and Corbin Mickle were named with the set academic and athletic requirements. Keister, an infielder from Harrisonburg, Virginia, settled right into Averett’s lineup after transferring from in-conference foe Shenandoah. The sports administration major batted .302 and was third on the hits with 42. He recorded a season-high three hits versus Johnson & Wales (N.C.) on Apr. 21.
