Five Named To College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

By: Len Skoros Hempstead, NY - Five Hofstra University baseball student-athletes have been selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team it was announced today by the organization. Receiving Academic All-District accolades are Jackson Bauer, Michael Brown, Joseph Curreri, Sean Hamilton, and Gabriel Melara. Bauer, a senior pitcher majoring in management, has a 3.52 grade point average. He appeared in 14 games this past season, posting a 2-1 record with 28 strikeouts.
