GFU Boasts Five Bruins on Academic All-District List

By: William Bale GREENWOOD, Ind. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) officially announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Teams for the 2026 baseball season, with five Bruins making the team, marking the program’s highest number of recipients in the past decade. Brennan Bates (Business Management), Gabe DeBenedetto (Business Administration), Andrew Miller (History), Garrett Strube (Nursing), and BJ Tokushima (Kinesiology) were all named to the team. To earn recognition, student-athletes must be of sophomore standing, maintain a GPA of at least 3.50, and either participate in 90% of their team’s games or pitch at least 65 innings.
