Grinnell baseball squad puts 6 on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team

2026 Academic All-District® Team GRINNELL, Iowa – Five Grinnell College baseball players have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team. Those student-athletes are Jakob Runkel ’26, Daniel Shaul ’26, Connor Goodson ’26, Stuart Cash ’27 and Jacob Gaynor ’28. Runkel is a three-time honoree, while Goodson and Cash have earned the honor twice. The squad, selected by College Sports Communicators including Grinnell Sports Information Director Ted Schultz, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances at the competition venue and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees have the potential to earn CSC Academic All-America® honors.
