Martin Honored as 2026 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Scholar Athlete of the Year

GREENVILLE, S.C. – All-Region honoree and 2026 Conference Carolinas hammer throw runner-up Bella Martin was recognized as the conference's 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Scholar Athlete of the Year, as announced on Tuesday afternoon. Martin graduated summa cum laude from Converse in May with a degree in health and wellness and child and family studies. She also earned the 2026 Conference Carolinas Elite 26 Award for Indoor Track & Field, an award given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average at their respective championship site.
