Bayside South names softball all-stars, players of the year for 2026

The Bayside South softball season came to a close last week, with Mardela softball winning back-to-back MPSSAA State Championships. Following the end of the season, Bayside South softball coaches came together to recognize the top performers of the season. Mardela's Ava Twilley was named the Bayside South Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive season, winning the award in every year of her high school career as a Warrior. Twilley, committed to play college softball at Mississippi State, helped to lead Mardela to their second consecutive state championships as their star pitcher.
