Calabasas High hires former national basketball coach of the year

Steve Baik is back in Southern California basketball. The man who coached one of the best high school basketball teams of all time has been hired as the new boys basketball head coach at Calabasas High. Baik coached the 2016 Chino Hills team led by star brothers Lonzo, LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball to a perfect 35-0 record and the CIF-State Open Division title. “Coach (Baik) had reached out to us with some interest,” Calabasas athletic director Thomas Cassidy told The Star. “We set up a couple of interviews and he blew us away.
