NORTHERN STATE ATHLETICS MARKS 18 STRAIGHT YEARS OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University athletics cemented 18 straight years, 36 consecutive semesters, of a grade point average above a 3.0 in 2025-26. Wolves student-athletes matched their fall 2025 mark of a 3.4 GPA with the entire department recording a 3.0 or better. The last time Northern State surpassed a 3.0 GPA with all programs was following the fall 2018 semester. In addition, seven programs recorded a spring semester GPA above a 3.5, lead by women's cross country with a 3.7.
