Plowman Moves to Full-Time Role with Cross Country and Track and Field Programs

WINCHESTER, Va. – Shenandoah University head cross country and track and field coach Andrew Marrocco has announced the hiring of Mackenzie Plowman as a full-time assistant coach. Plowman competed for the Hornets’ women’s cross country and track and field teams from 2020-25 and served as a graduate assistant coach during the 2025-26 season. This past year as a graduate assistant, Plowman helped coach distance events from the 400 meters and up, relays, and cross country, while also serving as the lead coach for javelin.
