Wheeling Athletics Sees Growth with 59 on Commissioner’s Honor Roll

Wheeling, W. Va. – The spring academic award schedule started off strong for the Wheeling University Athletic Department, with 105 student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference honors. The second half of the awards released this week with the announcement of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll, and the Cardinals continued their momentum, finishing top five in the conference in honorees. Wheeling would finish with 59 student-athletes on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll, seeing an increase of five student-athletes from last spring.
