Albert Roblez Named A Stopper Of The Year Finalist

DALLAS – Oregon State right-handed pitcher Albert Roblez has been named a finalist for the Stopper of the Year honor, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association announced on Thursday. Roblez finished the 2026 season with a 2-1 record and 1.50 earned run average in 24 appearances, all in relief. He finished with 14 saves and 53 strikeouts in 30 innings. Opponents hit .173 against him and he gave up just two extra bases. His 14 saves are the third-most by a Beaver in a single-season, equaling Kevin Gunderson in 2005.
