Central Falls In Sectional

Two baseball sectional tournaments were held in Greenville Wednesday. Sectional semifinal games were played at Greenville High School in Class 2A action. Breese Central went up against St. Anthony and was defeated 6-3. The Cougars ended the season with a 28-10 record. In the other semifinal battle, Freeburg defeated Effingham, 2-0. St. Anthony and Freeburg will play for the sectional championship at 11 a.m. Saturday at GHS. Greenville University also hosted semifinal action in a Class 1A sectional on Wednesday.
