Five earn Academic All-District® honors

GREENWOOD, Ind.–Five members of the Westminster baseball program were recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District® honors Tuesday afternoon. Rising seniors Jon Albers (Corry, Pa., Corry), Nate Demchak (Monroeville, Pa., Gateway), Parker Lyons (Rochester, Pa., Rochester) and Quinn Marquis (Hinckley, Ohio, Highland), along with rising junior Tom Rook (Clarence Center, N.Y., Clarence), were recognized. Lyons and Marquis were named Academic All-District ® for the second-straight year. This is the first Academic All-District® selection for Albers, Demchak and Rook. Albers, a right-handed pitcher, owns a 3.53 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications…
