Late start doesn’t stop Courtney’s football plans

MOUNT WASHINGTON – Garrett Courtney started playing football a little later in life. But, from his beginning in the East Chargers Middle program, the son of Lisa and Gary Courtney has improved to the point that colleges were interested in his talents. The offensive lineman recently signed to play for Campbellsville University. Sending video of his play for Bullitt East, Courtney caught the attention of Campbellsville coaches.
