Harrison’s Zion Clopton medals twice at state track meet

Zion Clopton's training this track and field season was centered around performing at his peak at the state finals. The Harrison sophomore made that approach pay off Saturday, June 6 in a rain delayed IHSAA state meet at North Central High School. Clopton earned two podium finishes in the hurdles races, highlighting five Lafayette area all-state honorees on the day. Clopton placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles in 38.24 seconds and eighth in the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.49 seconds.
