Texas beats Texas A&M, Tech for in-state commitment from 2027 WR
The Texas Longhorns earned a critical commitment in the 2027 class, landing a pledge from 3-star wide receiver Briceson Thrower. The North Forney (Texas) High School product chose Texas over offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Ohio State and Illinois. Thrower is a 3-star prospect according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings and ranks as the 57th-best wide receiver in the country.
