Trey Morris Named First-Team Freshman All-American
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State left-handed pitcher Trey Morris has been named a First-Team Freshman All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, the organization announced on Monday. Morris, from Easton, Calif., completed his first season as a Beaver with a 7-0 record and 1.98 earned run average in 16 games, eight of which were starts. He struck out 67 in 59 innings, holding opponents to a .166 batting average, scattering 34 hits to 15 walks.
