Lufkin’s Fitzgerald named to all-state team: Hudson, Centerville players honored

Lufkin Panther sophomore outfielder Sam Fitzgerald was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association all-state second team earlier this week. Fitzgerald, a pitcher/outfielder for the Panthers, was previously named the District 10-5A sophomore of the year. Fitzgerald was named all-state as an outfielder by the THSBCA. Hudson junior Ceylan Williams, who was co-MVP of District 17-4A, was a third-team selection on the Class 4A THSBCA all-state team as a pitcher.
