MBB’s Sweeney Departs Conn College

Sean Elliot NEW LONDON, Conn. – Tim Sweeney announced on Tuesday that he is leaving Connecticut College following seven seasons as head men’s basketball coach. Sweeney has accepted the head coaching position at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., where he will become the 31 st head coach in the program’s history. The Diplomats are coming off a 22-6 season in which they earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship.
