Women’s Basketball announces the addition of Taylor Schwab

ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine women's basketball team has announced the addition of Taylor Schwab. Schwab, a junior transfer, will be eligible to join the Black Bears for the 2026-27 season. Schwab, a 5-9 guard from Gig Harbor, Wash., transfers to Maine after spending the past two seasons at Arizona Christian University. In two seasons with the Firestorm at ACU, Schwab appeared in 56 games with 28 starts while averaging 11.1 points 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 37.6 percent from the floor and 31.0 percent from three-point range.
