In memory of Hall of Famer and track & field legend Steve Simmons

Chapman Athletics Hall of Famer Steve Simmons '65 passed away on June 4. Simmons' was a standout student-athlete at Chapman and later began a legendary coaching career. He was inducted to Chapman's Hall of Fame in 1983. Simmons came to Chapman from LA City College to play basketball and run track. He particularly excelled on the track, setting multiple school records and capping his career with All-American honors in 1965.
