UNT’s Williams Duo Set for NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. — UNT junior Aariyana Williams and sophomore Oluwatimilehim Williams are set to kick off their time at the mecca of track and field, as they will take part in the NCAA Championships this week at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. Aariyana Williams finished 11th in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to qualify for the meet while breaking her own program record with a 51.90. Olu Williams qualified for nationals in the discus with a throw of 57.50 meters to finish eighth and get through to Eugene.…
