Alase Advances to 100-Meter Hurdles Final

EUGENE, Ore. – Southern University's Tashina Alase continued her historic season on Thursday evening, winning her semifinal heat to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships final in the 100-meter hurdles at Hayward Field. After waiting until the third and final semifinal heat, Alase knew she would need either a top-two finish for an automatic berth or a time faster than 12.86 to secure a spot in Saturday's final.
