Sahlman, Johnson Advance to NCAA Finals

EUGENE, Ore. (June 10, 2026) – Northern Arizona advanced two athletes to NCAA championship finals Wednesday evening at Hayward Field as Colin Sahlman and Josiah Johnson both secured spots in Friday's title races. Sahlman earned an automatic qualifying berth in the men's 800-meter final, placing second in the second semifinal heat in 1:45.56. The top two finishers in each heat automatically advanced to Friday's final. Johnson followed later in the evening, running 49.40 in the men's 400-meter hurdles semifinal to qualify for Friday's championship race.
