UIW softball earns five SLC All-Academic selections

FRISCO, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word had five student-athletes selected to the Southland Conference's All-Academic Softball team. Sydney Zenon , Bryanna Fuentes , Kennedy Hill , Ayla Gonzales and Victoria Altamirano were selected to the All-Academic squad, which requires a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. Zenon led the way with a 3.86 GPA, with Fuentes and Hill right behind at 3.85. Gonzales finished with a 3.80 GPA, while Altamirano had a 3.40.
